Birthdays coming up so gonna pick up one of these but donno which one. Leaning more towards the 360 since its cheaper. Any thoughts/suggestions? Wanna pick up the 360 cuz of the sweet online play but at the same time want the ps3 for Final Fantasy later this year.

cod4 for pc > consoles. we also have the new maps.
go for ps3 if you like free online play, bluray, and all their exclusives
go for 360 is you still believe in hddvd, better online play and downloadable content, and all their exclusives

i don't remember what future exclusives the 360 has but i'm pretty excited for gears 2, looks hot.
can't really lose with either system, but i like ps3 more.

360

i used to say the 360 sucks and ps2 and ps3 would and will always be better. IMO the ps3 isnt worth it because they dont have quality games out. Buying the PS3 just for MGS4 and FF isnt worth it. 360 has the better games, better online play, and all around better everything. Definately go with the 360 if you dont want to be bored sitting around playing nothing after you beat MGS4or FF

was playing some of them last night. killhouse is only fun w/ 4 ppl. anything more is grenade frenzy.

Xbox 360 imo.

I have one of the first ones and it is working fine for me. You have a better selection of games out on the 360, in addition, the online community was built specifically for gamers. The online content on Live is incredible. The PS3's online capabilities is seriously lacking at this time.

The only reason I plan on getting a PS3 soon is for the Bluray. Since that is the HD DVD format that has won the HD battle, it would be stupid for me not to. I can get a bluray dvd player, but it would cost me about the same as a PS3. So why not get a PS3 so that I can have my Bluray and a gaming console to boot.

I enjoyed it better on 360. Chinatown is nuts if you have some silencers or UAV Jammers. Creek is not a sniping map, its a map where I take my shotgun or P90 and anally probe said snipers. Do a private game of Killhouse with only knives, that makes things interesting. Broadcast is good all around, no complaints with it.

The PS3 looks decent, but not worth the price just to pick up a blu-ray drive and a couple good games, majority of PS3's stuff doesn't make me excited at all. Even though Microsoft says it won't, i'm sure they're going to make a Bluray attachment for the 360, same as they did for the HD DVD. In the end i'll probably end up buying a Wii before a PS3, maybe. I like the 360's lineup better and I have personally haven't had any problems yet with the system, so unless you were unlucky or overheat you 360, nothing is wrong there. But on the lighter side, at least you PS3 owners finally get to experience Bioshock, thats a pretty awesome game.
