hear it's better uploads worse dls but i dunno, had both and either one screws you/goes out occasionaly. what i do know is cable companies spent the billions they got in tax breaks to re-wire in fiber optic on lobbying to not have to instal fiber optic and keep the tax break money. capitalism/democracy at its finest, so we get shitty, unreliable, bandwith capped internet for the next 50 years.

DSL is far more stable, slower DL/UL, but constant.
Cable is far faster, but the more neighbors you have, the worse the connection.
