lemme know what you guys think. if it doesnt have much interest i wont do it.

ill do a bunch of different genres so dont think its just going to be the emo stuff that i listen to mostly.

guess ill give you a sample thread since i am bored.

Justin Nozuka: Hes a 19 year old Canadian acoustic guitarist of Japanese and American descent. His music sounds a lot like Jack Johnson and John Mayer. I just ran across his stuff the other day and i already love it. He started writing and singing when he was 15 and learned to play guitar at a Catholic boarding school in Ontario.

Good Idea... BUT! That guy sucks, should do something on the following great bands/Artists:
Aesop Rock
Anberlin
Armor for Sleep ( they are alright)
Bloc Party
Broken Social Scene
Kings of Convenience
The Legion of Doom
Way out West
Halou
My Toys like Me
Reggie & the Full Effect
Pendulum
The Get up Kids
ATB
Craig Armstrong

I listen to all types of music, thats just a light skimming of my list that I took randomly from my win-amp shuffle. Oh and don't question my taste... its DIVINE! ( I kid I kid... but really don't.)

(Yes I am one of those people who thinks everything I listen to is the best and everything else is trash)

But really... you should do it. great idea to get people exposed to new music.

i like a lot of those bands you listed. and i beg to differ with you on this guys skill. listen to the second song i put up, its live. cant hide imperfection when you're live. I wish i had a shred of the singing skill that this guy does. but rest assured rah ill do some good stuff.

I'd fuck Lesley Feist and Emily Haines so hard -- preferably at the same time.

It's more impressive live since there are about evelenty billion members of BSS:

Also, Emily Haines (the blonde) is in Metric, another awesome band:

7/4 Shoreline is a awesome song. <3 Fire Eye'd Boy - so amazing. Alive in 85 - amazing instrumental song. Major label debut also amazing... everyone should listen to Bss imo... best.

Broken Social Scene is on the list of the few good things Canada has.

Love arcade fire. I love how in-concert there are like 13 of them and in the middle of a song they switch instruments. They're fantastic.
