I get set free for a few hours every weekend to drop in and read up on fun stuff i can't do anymore.

I got thrown in a gas hut today. That was fun. I got to listen as 5 guys to my left choked on some CS gas due to not clearing their mask after a drill.

Some guy this afternoon puked in his gas mask, in the gas hut. I hear stories that the splash back completely engulfed his face before he could get his mask off. At which point he went into a coughing fit in the hut and nearly passed out due to lack of air and puke in the throat and face.

Yesterday i went repelling. We got to jump off a mock helicopter skid to simulate a standard drop. Several times. Using a swiss seat. The seat is tied from a single length of rope and if done wrong results in self castration. Fortunately nobody did it wrong.

Sunday i get to go live in the woods for 2 weeks. Fortunately they give me Easter weekend off. Yay for Easter. Or it would be 2 weeks straight, living off field rations (food in a tube).

I hope one day i get one of those lazy military jobs i keep hearing about. The type of job that lets me play WoW all day and get paid for it. Till then... guess it is frosty mornings and food in a tube. Oh, and section attacks, and rifle ranges and experiencing a C7 on full auto.
