Basically next gen City of Heroes meets World of Warcraft. In this game though, when a player does a combo, he has to pretty every key instead of pressing a key that launches multiple attacks.

It's going to be real time shadow and real time lighting.

This game is released in two more months and it is going to be open beta in the next week until launch.

It was going to be Marvel Universe Online but Marvel pulled out and now Atari is publishing it.

The game is going to be fully customizable. Let's say you make a mage, you can create his robes from scratch and even edit what his spells will look like and his movement and his voice down to the shape of the eyes and nose. Some players even made reindeers and whales that shoot lasers out of their nose.

It's going to feature real-time action too. No casting unless it's a special event power like to teleport the team to another dimension.

decca, we know you have a hard on for this game, but I can't see it being any more successful than city of heroes/villains. It's was a great game for a week but then there was no character development or end-game advancement. It might even be as bad as The Matrix Online.

I'm in the beta! i just got in this afternoon. i will post full preview of it but it's amazing! I made Psylocke and you can basically do everything. shoot psionic darks and even form weapons with them. i dont know how to record videos but i will take tons of screenshots. What's a TGA file and how do i convert? i've spent the last 5 hours making a charcater. one charcater in 1 hours and i havent even entered gameplay.

also you can definitely tell the makers of this game played wow. Bill Roper was a developer for Warcraft and you can see some raiding tier pieces in here. Like I see Tier 5 Priest shoulders and Tier 3 paladin helm.

Give it a week or two. I was in the CoH beta for a few months and it seemed like the perfect game with a brilliant character creator. If a CoH system met with raiding i'm sure it would be impressive. A tga file is a higher quality image format and it can be re-saved as another format. I would use FRAPS to grab video.
